H.U.G.S. Mission
To offer a healing environment, through individual or group engagement, for all people processing the loss of a loved one to suicide. H.U.G.S. offers support, understanding and education to empower the Survivor of a Loss to Suicide through the grieving process. H.U.G.S. preserves confidentiality, and honors individual differences in a respectful and appropriate way.
Suicide Prevention Advocacy
Evidence shows that providing support services, talking about suicide, reducing access to means of self-harm, and following up with loved ones are actions we can all take to help reduce the risk of suicide.

Let Us Carry You!
If you are looking for a place to connect with others, to feel hope and to find your way again, you need a hug. A hug - simple, pure and important - is a personal expression of comfort when only the touch of another human will heal what is broken. Let H.U.G.S. be a part of your path to healing.
Parent & Grandparent Support Group
Hugs offers a separate support group where you will find a comforting space to be surrounded by other parents and grandparents who truly understand the myriad of emotions unique to the survivors left behind in the suicide of a child or grandchild. Listening to others share their journey can be difficult yet cathartic. Sharing your own story, while not easy, in the company of other parents and grandparents is supportive at so many levels.
